Blimp (n):  A light-than air craft, ussually filled with a light gas
such as Hydrogen (back inthe Zepelin (sp?) days) or Helium.  A large,
balloon-like sack holds the light gas, with a basket or similar
compartment to hold passengers and such slung underneath.  The blimp's
balloon has a wire-like internal structure.  When the balloon is full of
the light gas, it takes on a faceted shape due to the wire structure it
is attached to.

It's the thing flying over football/baseball/soccer(?) games. :)
